SASS (Search and Seek Scenarios)

There are a wide variety of directions that a scavenger hunt event can head. Whether a city-wide hunt or site specific hunt or something in between, participants are challenged to work together to figure out clues, find defined locations and prove their determination. This can include hunts using Digital, Polaroid or Video Cameras, GeoVentures using hand held GPS unit or courses based on specific locations. Hunts can include walking or driving and wide variety of other constraints, boundaries and tests of skill.

Build It & They Will Have Fun

Whether a race car, delivery truck, sailboat, the latest computer, aircraft, a tower, a pair of eye glasses, or the Brooklyn Bridge, teams love to work together to create a vision, make it a reality and market the reality to an end user. These “construction” activities allow individuals with a wide range of skill, personality, style and interest to find their role and contribute to the goals of the group. Dale’s signature event the AutoBond is a perfect example of this entertaining and effective team building event.

Recess from the Workday

Corporate Olympics, Company Picnics, Team Casino, Interactive Mystery Theatre, Game Shows, Shoot Your Own Commercial and more. All these team building events focus on the fun and recreation factors. Entertaining and lively atmospheres provide the perfect arena for cooperation and communication to take place within a competitive and friendly environment.

Cooking Up A Team

These events allows team members to work together as a group as well as in smaller pairs or triads to produce a meal or other culinary selections. All meals are available and menus to suit a variety of skill levels and tastes can be provided. A PWG professional chef guides the process and can also provide demonstrations on specific techniques. The event culminates in participants sharing in their creation by dining together as a team. Contests can be held to create a specific type dish from miscellaneous ingredients under a deadline. These entertaining and delicious events are unforgettable.

Problem Solving 101

Within a non-competitive atmosphere, participants are guided through “challenge-by-choice” activities and exercises. The group begins with basic ice-breakers and proceeds with a progressively more challenging sequence of challenges. Each series of activities is created based on the group goals and performance. These initiatives lay the groundwork for enhanced communication and cooperation within your group or business.

Motivational Speaking

Sometimes it takes a cheerleader from the outside to point out all the areas of success and continued opportunities. We can get your group laughing and fired up for the cause. Our speakers will serve as a Master of Ceremonies or can provide a variety of motivational messages that are tailored to fit the needs of your group. Our speakers are professionals with over twenty years of experience in encouraging, inspiring, entertaining, and motivating all types of groups. Using a combination of facts, illustrations and humor, our staff can provide an outstanding message on your designated theme. Some topics might include: Team Dynamics, Communication Skills, Leadership, Conflict Management, Motivation, Handling Stress, Values in the Workplace.

Assessment

There are a wide variety of instruments available to groups seeking to increase skills or a sense of understanding. Whether conflict resolution, communication, personality style, team style, or vision, PWG can focus on specific goals and objectives. PlayWorks is able to facilitate a variety of personality and team profiles that help individual and group understanding in such areas as communication style, conflict resolution, project management and other interpersonal skills. Participants will typically have workbooks as a take-away from the day as a reminder of their enhanced skills and understanding.
