PlayWorks Group formed in the summer of 2002, but our staff has been working together for close to a decade. We decided to pool our collective experience from other organizations because we had so much fun working together that we wanted to do it MORE!

Our Philosophy

When we were little, we spoke in the language of play and we believed anything was possible. We could be bankers, grocers, princesses, doctors, fire fighters, super heroes, athletes and astronauts. We could fly; we could save lives; we could perform in front of thousands; we could go to Mars; we could break the sound barrier.

When did we decide reality somehow constrained us? Think of the teams at NASA. Remind yourself about the Wright Brothers. Go to a ballet. Order a meal at a five star restaurant. Visit a high-school football practice. The possibilities are out there. Whether rafting down a river, building a car, learning your personality style, searching for a clue, or discovering the perfect solution, PlayWorks creates interactive opportunities for you to experience the power of play and of team dynamics in an engaging and entertaining environment.

Why should adults have to give up recess? Just like children rehearse behavior and skills on the playground, in gym class and through imaginative play, adults need a safe place to learn to work and communicate more effectively. Our team building events provide a safe avenue for exploration and experimentation. We level the playing field, creating freedom from fear of failure and access to hidden strengths.

“In the Conceptual Age, in work and in life, we all need to play.” - A Whole New Mind by Daniel H. Pink.
